Hydrocarbon Extraction Technician

Major ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all SOPs for the operation QA and to complete material packing HC extractor operations and at minimum able to operate one method of THCA isolation safely with hazardous chemicals and cleaning agents being used ensure to follow all safety procedures on site including donning of all appropriate PPE (respirator goggles etc.)Keep accurate inventory control on processing material and lab supplies and notify leadership of order replenishmentActive participation in leading KPI discussion for extraction and crystallization and achieve daily KPI production goals and indicate limitations in improvement opportunities and report issues in order to maximize efficiency quality and yield while ensuring safety and reliabilityPerform operational tasks such as equipment set up troubleshooting extraction equipment to minimize downtimeCommunicate effectively with the previous and next shifts to ensure a smooth handoff for continuous productionEnsure timely batch record completion with high accuracyAchieve daily KPI production goals and indicate limitations in processesTrain & Signoff all new employees or contractors as requiredPerform sanitation activities as per GPP requirementsEnsure 100% compliance with QA requirements during day-to-day activitiesTrain & Signoff all new employees or contractors as duties as assignedQualificationsCannabis and/or Manufacturing experience preferredExperience within Cannabis industry is an assetMechanical inclination is an assetAttention to detail and commitment to safety while operating process equipmentPositive attitude with strong communication skillsStrong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritizeShows initiative and ownership of work and willingness to learnBasic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordPhysically fit; standing and/or sitting will be required for long periods of time and must be able to lift up to 50 lbsRequired to pass a criminal background checkMust be able to work various shift schedules as requiredMust be able to don all required PPE (respirators goggles etc.)
