As the team takes shape your focus will evolve from building the workforce to strengthening it with the opportunity to become the go-to advisor employee relations lead and culture ambassador for our regional senior leadership team. • Serve as the trusted HR advisor to the Area Manager and regional leadership team providing candid practical advice on people decisions capability and risk.
  • Lead employee relations and workplace conflict resolution addressing issues early fairly and consistently with policy before they become formal.
  • Support workplace investigations and disciplinary processes to Technicas standard.
  • Coach managers and supervisors on performance feedback and development and lead the regions performance and development cycle.
  • Build the regional talent and succession pipeline alongside the Area Manager.
  • Own regional retention: understand why people stay and why they leave and act on it.
  • Continue to lead regional recruitment keeping the talent pipeline healthy as projects grow.
  • Champion Technicas culture and RICH² values across the region.

Qualifications:

  • 57 years of progressive HR experience; proven experience in recruitment and employee relations or in an HR Generalist role is preferred.

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Business or a related field.
  • Experience in mining construction or heavy industry is strongly preferred; experience in the potash and uranium sectors is considered an asset.
