Job Function:
We are currently seeking a motivated Advisor HR Analytics to join our this role you will support operational reporting collaborate with peers and team lead to develop dashboards and data visualizations and help uncover analytical insights that inform a wide range of HR programs and workforce planning initiatives. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and analytical capabilities by working with large and complex workforce datasets translating business requirements into actionable insights and supporting the delivery of strategic analytics solutions. Working closely with HR COEs and business leaders you will gain exposure to key areas such as total rewards workforce planning talent management diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) and organizational effectiveness.
General Accountabilities:
- Provide reporting and analytics expertise to support clients in the Human Resources Branch in analyzing business and data needs and developing appropriate reporting solutions analytics tools and applications.
- Develop complete system specifications in conjunction with these clients to represent the required applications logic data flows and analytical requirements such as regarding labour negotiations including benefits proposals work program budgets details pension plan evaluation etc. Determine based on these specifications appropriate software reporting tools analytics platforms & data environments to support the system.
- Design test and implement new systems and maintain and enhance existing systems using appropriate technologies and techniques. Utilize the full capabilities of the HR Data Environment to ensure the effectiveness of these systems and related deliverables including reports dashboards and analytical solutions.
- Provide technical support training and expertise to clients to ensure their effective use of reporting tools analytics solutions and HR information systems or mathematical methods. Where appropriate indicate to clients areas that could benefit from process automation reporting enhancements or that are using systems ineffectively.
- Maintain a high degree of expertise in HR reporting tools and analytics technologies as it is applied to Human Resources Information Systems. Provide leadership to clients and support other section staff in the effective use of HR reporting tools and analytics technologies. Maintain awareness of changes in HR management in Hydro One.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation user guides reporting procedures and data definitions.
- Work with analysts and technical teams and business partners to maintain the overall integrity of our data environment.
- Keep abreast of new developments in analytics reporting automation and information technologies with regards to Human Resources Branch Functions and related activities in order to ensure their up-to-date methods and techniques are available for their requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.

The base salary for this role considers a variety of factors including candidates knowledge skills experience education and any applicable collective agreement requirements for union-represented positions.
