HSE Coordinator CNRL Fall Turnaround

Tacten is seeking professional energetic and forward-thinking HSE Coordinators to support our Fall TA Season in Fort McMurray AB.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a growing division within Tacten!

• Dates: August 28 2026 - October 2 2026
• Temporary Full-Time Project/Turnaround Support
• Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada
• Camp provided

• Supervise coordinate and manage all aspects of safety on project site(s) to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
• Actively promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks safety awareness initiatives and employee engagement.
• Deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees contractors and visitors focusing on safety protocols procedures and emergency preparedness.
• Investigate and document workplace incidents near-misses and safety violations identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable safety rules and regulationsand leverage strong negotiation and reasoning skills to influence and guide others toward effective and acceptable safety solutions.

• NCSO Certification required.
• OHS Certification would be an asset but not required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field safety-related discipline.
• Heavy industrial operations experience is an asset.
• A proven track record in participation of safety management processes e.g. safety committees and working groups and heavy industrial auditing and inspection experience.
• You are an excellent planner organizer with refined interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated computer competency with Microsoft Office software.
