We are searching for a Housekeeping Team Lead (Suite Services Attendant)to join our Parkland West Bedfordteam based in Bedford Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity
- Provide leadership in the coordination of housekeeping activities to ensure professional and excellent service delivery to residents
- Coordinate the ordering and distribution of housekeeping supplies in an effective and efficient manner keeping within budgetary guidelines.
- Provide leadership and support in the provision of housekeeping services respecting the residents right to individualized services;
- Assist in assessing planning administering consulting and evaluating the housekeeping services within the facility
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Work as a member of the support services team toward the departmental goals and priorities
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement collaboration and accountability you bring:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience in a housekeeping position
- Previous experience in working with the elderly in a retirement or long-term care environment an asset
- Previous team lead experience an asset
- Alzheimers Care course an asset
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check and where applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check prior to appointment.
