The campus includes a 122-bed Ismaili Ethnocultural Designated Long-Term Care Home. AgeCare has been appointed as the manager of the Generations Toronto long-term care home and is recruiting the Housekeeping Aide (Janitor) on behalf of Generations Toronto.
The Opportunity
The Housekeeper performs a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure that the Long-Term Care residence is maintained in a safe clean and sanitary condition for residents visitors and other staff members.
What Is in It For You
Cleans dining rooms bedrooms bathrooms lounges activity areas offices hallways stairwells and other areas as directed.
Cleans mops waxes and polishes floors. Operates a floor machine to buff dining room bedroom lounge corridor and office floors.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
Cleans and disinfects sinks toilets urinals and telephones daily.
What You Will Need
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
A minimum of public-school education is required.
