Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Using a combination of sweeping vacuuming extracting spot washing; damp mopping dusting or polishing the Housekeeping Aide will clean the following:

1. Housekeeping Aide will clean the following:

1.1 Residents rooms and bathrooms; including light fixtures walls
and floor surfaces.

1.2 All common areas of Facility; e.g. lounges public washrooms
etc.

1.3 Offices Conference Room Multipurpose Room Quiet room etc.

1.4 Parkade

2. Empties garbage cans in residents rooms washrooms and offices.

3. Vacuums draperies

4. Cleans carts and equipment.

5. Reports equipment/furnishings etc. repairs and maintenance needs to supervisor.

6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Education and Experience:

Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent combination of training education and experience.

2. Skills and Abilities:

2.1 Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

2.2 Ability to deal with others effectively.

2.3 Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

2.4 Ability to organize work.

2.5 Ability to operate related equipment.

Compensation:

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
