Job Summary

Hi there were Article. Since 2013 we have been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time its not easy it requires solving challenging meaningful problems. This is where you come in as a Home Expert (Part-time) youll be the face of Article making every in-store interaction feel easy inspiring and memorable.

Availability:

Our store is open 7 days a week 10 am -6 pm PST.

As a part-time employee you must have a minimum availability of 24 hours per week (i.e. 3 days per) per week including mandatory availability on Saturday and Sunday. Work schedules will be provided at least two weeks in advance with specific start times varying within a specified range.

We require individuals with flexible availability. The shifts you will be assigned to will typically be between the following hours:

9:00 am - 7:00 pm PST (Hour early to open and Hour later to close)

What Youll Do:

As a Home Expert you have a passion for helping customers create beautiful spaces in their homes. You are up to date on the latest trends and seek out ways to inspire and delight our customers. You have a proven ability to drive sales and deliver on KPIs.

Welcome customers into the showroom and help them feel at home
Guide customers through our furniture selection and support online ordering
Stay informed about our products tools and policies to support customer confidence
Keep the showroom looking beautiful and organized throughout the day
Use internal systems to manage orders support returns and navigate logistics
Collaborate with teammates and contribute to a respectful team-first environment
Participate in regular coaching and feedback with your Store Manager
Flex to support peak periods on weekends and key retail dates

Who You Are:

Requirements:

Legally able to work in Canada
Completion of a criminal background check
Reliable transportation to (location)
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
Minimum 18 years of age

Customer Experience:

You bring retail experience ideally in a considered-purchase environment where customers take time to compare and decide
Youre passionate about helping people and love solving problems
You build strong genuine relationships that create long-term Article customers
