Heavy Equipment Operator

Fowler Construction is seeking highly experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to skillfully operate excavators dozers and/or graders. A strong commitment to safety along with significant roadbuilding and civil construction experience is essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Skillfully operate equipment to level and smooth surfaces dig holes and trenches and move earth and other materials as instructed.
• Execute the daily plan and work sequence under the direction of the foreperson or superintendent and complete work tasks as directed in an effective safety-conscious manner.
• Work with and alongside lead hands and labourers to successfully complete the required work.
• Perform physical labour when required to meet the demands of the project.
• Follow direction as provided by the foreperson lead hand superintendent and spotter.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure its in good working condition.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and operator cab.

• Significantskillsinoperatinggradersexcavatorsand/ordozers(canbelimitedtoonespecialty).
• Abilitytoworkandfollowdirectionsinchallengingworkenvironments.

• Mustbewillingandcapableofperformingphysicallabourwhenneeded.
• Punctualandavailabletowork.
• MustmaintainavalidDriversLicense.
