Whether youre looking for a 7x7 or 14x14 rotation youll enjoy steady year-round work while building your skills alongside experienced Journeyperson technicians. Based out of our truck shop at 180 MacLennan Crescent in Fort McMurray AB youll work on one of the industrys most diverse fleets using OEM diagnostic software specialized tooling and equipment that supports continuous learning and professional growth.

- Full-time year-round work with all repairs completed in-house providing exposure to a wide variety of equipment and opportunities to expand your technical expertise
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance diagnostics and repairs on Hydrovacs Wet Vacuum Trucks Combo Units Water Trucks High Pressure Water Blasting equipment highway tractors and trailers (Peterbilt Kenworth and Western Star)
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and after-treatment systems including Cummins CAT Detroit and John Deere
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems PTOs clutches transmissions differentials vacuum pumps blowers and burner systems
- Complete Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIP)
- Interpret work orders and accurately document completed repairs
- Mentor apprentices and support their development
- Participate in daily toolbox and safety meetings while adhering to company and site safety requirements
Role Specifications:
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (On-Road) certification required
- Valid Class 5 drivers licence with no more than five demerits in the past three years
- Class 1 or Class 3 drivers licence is considered an asset
- CVIP licence or the ability to obtain one
- Experience with hydraulic electrical and pump systems is considered an asset
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must provide your own tools
