The Job: Equipment Maintenance Repair and Safety

Inspect maintain diagnose and repairheavy-duty vehicles machinery and equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance scheduled servicingand component replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic andelectrical systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.

Maintain accurate inspection maintenance andrepair records.

Coordinate specialized repairs and partsrequirements with supervisors operators and external vendors.

Identify and report equipment deficienciessafety concerns and maintenance requirements.

Use tools equipment and personal protectiveequipment safely and in accordance with company procedures and applicableregulations.

Maintain a clean organized and properlyequipped work area while supporting a strong safety culture across shop yardand field operations.

What Skills andTraining Do You Need

Journeyperson Heavy Duty Techniciancertification.

5 years experience working as a HeavyEquipment Technician/Mechanic.

Vacuum Truck experience is an asset.

Minimum Class 5 Drivers License required withclean abstract.

Excellent safety record and a commitment to safework practices.

Willingness to provide references consent to a criminal record check and completepre-employment alcohol & drug testing.

Must be able to work out of town on a rotationalschedule.
