• Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
• Interface with customers products and sales support
• Working with the supervisor on various tasks
• Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
• Various related duties as required

Specific Skills & Experience

• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
• Experience as a Heavy Duty Technician operating a service truck
• Dedication to safety
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
• Valid class 5 drivers license with a successful driver abstract
• Completion or be in the process of completing Finning S-level courses would also be considered an asset
• Team player

Note:

• This position is located out of our Fort McMurray Town Shop facility on a 7x7 continuous shift rotation
• Role will require access to various customer sites around the Wood Buffalo region a condition of employment is the ability to obtain customer site access (drug & alcohol fitness testing wear a respirator where applicable)and will be required to successfully complete necessary training and other activities based on customer requirements
• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
• You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted
