Lethbridge Family Services (LFS) is seeking health care aides to join our Home Services department! Health care aides provide in-home support to seniors and individuals who need assistance completing activities of daily living.

Health care aides:
provide personal care and support to clients in client homes according to the service plan
monitor and accurately record and report on the status of clients
complete appropriate charting in the Alayacare mobile app
participate in quality improvement activities
recommend changes to service plans as client needs change
attend in-services workshops and training sessions as required and
use appropriate safety measures including universal precautions and infection control procedures.

Required skills and qualifications:
must be at least 18 years old
must have completed a health care aide certificate program that meets the provincial standard
must be currently registered or eligible for registration with the CLHA
must provide your most recent tuberculosis screening prior to the date of hire
must be able to provide care in accordance with legislation care plans and training and
must have a valid class 5 drivers license with current registration and insurance and a reliable vehicle.


All new health care aides must provide a police information check and vulnerable sector check prior to providing client care.


Hours: Casual/Relief must be able to work days evenings and weekends

Wage: $22.77 - $27.99
