We are looking for a Head Office Billing Administrator.

The Billing Administratoris responsible for handling all premium and billing aspects for group clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis and maintenance of their assigned block of business and assisting team members keeping current and consistent with specific quality standards.

What you will do:

  • Prepare monthly billing statements using Microsoft Excel and the Group Billing System (GBS)
  • Handling daily inquiries from Clients Group Sales office and other Canada Life departments.
  • Allocate and code payments accurately on Policy Administration System (PAS) and Systems Applications and Products (SAP).
  • Handle all Group Client arrears.
  • Maintain fees on the ASO system and process amendments which have a direct impact on the client bill
  • Calculate retroactive fees and taxes
  • Prepare policy year-end refund audits within the service target date

  • Excellentorganizational and time management skills with the ability tohandlepressures of deadlines fluctuating workloads and changing priorities
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • High attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Well-developed analytical/problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed skills usingWord Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Group Insuranceproducts and TOCS system would be considered an asset
  • Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment
  • You are comfortable with technology using multiple computer and business programs
  • Bilingual fluency (English & French) would be considered an asset
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information assets or work sites as outlined by theGovernment of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $43300 - $58600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
