Group Sales Coordinator

In collaboration with the Supervisor Groups the incumbent is responsible for coordinating and managing group sales activities for Transat. They play a key role in achieving sales objectives by providing high-quality advisory services to travel agencies and partners while maximizing revenues and maintaining the companys competitive position in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain group pricing and availability follow up on opportunities and maximize group sales.
• Achieve established sales targets and contribute to revenue growth within the groups segment.
• Manage the entire group booking cycle from quotation to file closure while ensuring quality control.
• Negotiate special agreements related to groups events conventions and familiarization trips.
• Respond to travel agency inquiries regarding pricing availability products and general group-related information.
• Collaborate with key accounts and internal teams to ensure effective management of group sales.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities promote Transat products and services and process fare adjustment requests.
• Participate in industry events including trade shows product launches and familiarization trips as required.

Qualifications :

• Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
• Two to three years of experience in the travel industry including relevant experience in group sales.
• Proven sales experience with demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and close sales.
• Strong customer service communication and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset business acumen understanding of financial concepts and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and demonstrated proficiency with collaborative digital tools and AI solutions (e.g. Copilot). Excellent knowledge of TTS as a strong asset.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
