We are looking for a passionate IT Project Portfolio Manager with a strong interest in governance performance and value creation. This role is split between managing the IT project portfolio and directly delivering projects within a dynamic fastevolving environment.

This person plays a key role as the orchestrator of the project portfolio while also leading several strategic initiatives.

IT Portfolio Management & Governance (50%)
  • Maintain and evolve the IT project portfolio ensuring information is accurate up to date and well structured
  • Facilitate the intake analysis and prioritisation process in collaboration with IT leadership and business partners
  • Coordinate portfolio governance routines (monthly reviews status tracking risk summaries)
  • Produce clear and concise reports for leadership (dashboards KPIs progress status capacity and workload)
  • Ensure high-level financial tracking of the portfolio (budgets forecasts variances) in collaboration with Finance
  • Monitor risks dependencies and cross-project issues and escalate when needed
  • Support project managers and technical leads by removing administrative blockers aligning practices or facilitating decision-making
  • Maintain lightweight PMO tools and templates to support consistent and efficient delivery
  • Identify and propose targeted process improvements (e.g. clearer dashboards simplified templates better-defined intake criteria)
Project Delivery (50%)
  • Lead multiple small- to medium-sized IT projects simultaneously across various business areas
  • Manage scope timelines risks issues and communications
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams (architecture infrastructure cybersecurity application development business analysis) and business stakeholders
  • Develop project plans prepare stakeholder communications and perform basic financial tracking
  • Coordinate testing deployment and transition to support teams
  • Manage vendors and external partners for assigned projects
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT processes (security change management documentation)
PMO & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain and enhance key templates checklists and frameworks used for IT project delivery
  • Support basic administration and updates of PPM or collaboration tools
  • Recommend practical and incremental improvements to reporting workflows and governance mechanisms based on operational needs
  • Ensure project management practices remain aligned with key IT processes (e.g. change management) without being responsible for full ITIL/ITSM integration
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Experience in IT project or portfolio management within a mid-sized IT environment
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid)
  • Experience with project management and/or collaboration tools
  • Ability to create dashboards portfolio summaries and leadership presentations
  • Good understanding of general IT concepts (infrastructure SaaS cloud cybersecurity data)
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret project data and identify trends
