McCain Foods (Canada) is currently seeking a General Operator to join our Valley Farm Team in Grand Falls N.B. for the Fall Harvest Season.

About the role.

This seasonal role supports the Valley Farm Team during the Fall Harvest and includes operating farm equipment supporting general maintenance and following all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.

What youll be doing.

Operatefarm machinery SS Loader and Forklift asrequired.

Perform general maintenance duties as assigned.

Follow all safety requirements and promote a safe work environment.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.

Work long hours and weekends as needed during harvest periods.

Lift 25-30lbsregularly and at timesin excess of50 lbs.

Completeadditionalduties as assigned.

What youll need to be successful.

Valid Truck Driver License Class 3 with Air Brakes.

Ability tooperatefarm machinery SS Loader and Forklift.

Valid Pesticide Licensewould bean asset.

Background in Agriculture would be an asset.

Grade 12 education or GED would be an asset.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Team player with excellent attendance.

Highly motivated and observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.

Good safety record and demonstrated commitment to safety-first practices.

Compensation Package:Starting at $23.25CAD hourly.

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education/training and other organizational posting is for an existing vacancy.
