General Labourer

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Timmins ON. Mon to Fri 8 am to 5pm.  As a labourer you will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work.

What Youre Responsible For:

• Operating torch cutting equipment to process and prepare scrap materials safely and efficiently
• Draining fluids from end-of-life vehicles in accordance with environmental and safety procedures
• Sorting and processing various types of wire and mine loads to maximize material recovery and value
• Identifying separating and organizing non-ferrous and ferrous materials
• Loading unloading and moving materials and equipment using forklifts and other site equipment as required
• Maintaining a safe clean and organized work area while following all company health and safety policies
• Assisting with general yard operations and other duties as assigned to support daily production activities

Qualifications :

To join our team:

• You have previous experience operating a forklift
• You have previous experience in metal recycling or an industrial environment
• You are comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• You are physical fit and able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
• You are able to work well in a team and on your own
