Job Summary
This role involves physically demanding work in an industrial setting and requires strict adherence to safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cleanup and remediation of bitumen spill areas
- Perform general labor duties including shovelling material handling and site maintenance
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely
- Support site technicians and supervisors as needed
- Follow all safety policies procedures and site requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial construction or oil sands environments preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Willingness to work long shifts (12 hours) in outdoor conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to travel to site and stay in camp for the duration of project
