General Labourer Temporary to Permanent

Our client is seeking dependable and hardworking General Labourers to support a variety of residential and commercial property projects throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work working as part of a team and taking pride in completing quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with demolition cleanup and general labour duties
• Move materials equipment and customer belongings safely and efficiently
• Support crews on residential and commercial job sites
• Maintain clean organized and safe work areas
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent project requirements
• Provide professional customer service while representing the company on-site
• Travel outside of Winnipeg when required

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Valid Class 5 drivers licence with a clean driving record
• Steel-toe safety boots and basic hand tools
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Willingness to travel out of town when required
• Able to wear required PPE including a properly fitted respirator
• Able to successfully complete a criminal record check

Assets

• Previous experience in construction demolition restoration property maintenance or general labour
• First Aid certification
• Experience working in residential or commercial environments

Compensation & Benefits

• $18.00$21/hour based on experience
