Job Summary

Clarkes Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Front Store Clerk to join our teamin Thompson Manitoba. Responsibilities:Provide warm friendly customer service by greeting all customers and handling inquiries courteouslyOperate the cash register stock shelves tidy aisles and support various front-store tasksEnsure store cleanliness and organization including performing light janitorial duties and maintaining displaysFollow store policies on security shoplifting and lottery ticket handlingMonitor cash levels anticipate change needs and request pickups when necessaryDevelop strong product knowledge stay informed about new items and maintain awareness of store layoutMerchandise products effectively using shelf labels rotation and facing techniquesManage allocated sections and notify buyers of out-of-stock itemsAssist in inventory maintenance and support reordering processesSupport seasonal displays and promotional setupsHandle difficult customer situations with tact and escalate complaints as neededReport customer feedback and concerns to the store managerRemain productive between customer interactionsComplete miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Front Store Manager or Store Operator/Pharmacy ManagerQualifications:Experience in merchandising retail or cashiering is cash handling and strong customer service skillsComputer proficiencyFinestra competency is an assetAbility to stand for extended periods and multitask in a fast-paced environmentClear courteous communication and strong product knowledgeMature cooperative attitude with a professional appearance including proper grooming and a name tagCriminal Record Check requiredSchedule:40 hours per store operates Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 shifts will be scheduled within these hours with occasional Saturday shifts & Benefits:Paid vacationComprehensive health and dental benefitsStore discountEmployee Assistance ProgramOpportunity for career growth and professional development supportWho We Are: Neighbourly Pharmacy is Canadas largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
