Foreperson – Earthworks
Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong heavy civil background hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and the ability to lead a crew in a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise a crew of equipment operators
- Assist with planning and coordinating daily site activities
- Communicate project priorities work plans and safety expectations to crew members
- Promote and enforce Ledcors safety culture policies and procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks daily safety meetings and site hazard assessments
- Complete daily reports production tracking and other required documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Must have reclamation experience (dump site setup soil stripping windowing and material stockpiling)
- Must have experience in haul road construction
- Must have experience operating equipment: haul trucks (777/785) dozers (D6 to D10) and excavators (20-80T)
- Leadership training is highly preferred
- Ground Disturbance 201certification
- Must have agood attitude strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Must be available for day / night shifts
Work Conditions:
- 14 days on / 7 days off working 12 hours per day
- Camp accommodation provided
- Travel allowance
- Charter flights from Edmonton / Calgary

- Work performed outdoors in varying weather and ground conditions
