Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Supervise and direct the members of the maintenance team within the location setting goals targets and managing accordingly.
• Preventive Maintenance: Follow the schedule of preventive maintenance and annual inspections.
• Fleet Analysis: Analyze the fleet and make suggestions for improvements or purchases.
• Subcontractor & Repair Oversight: Assume responsibility for the approval and payment of any repairs on the companys equipment that must be performed by subcontractors while keeping in contact with the District Manager.
• Budgeting & Operations: Work with Operations in the development and administration of the budget for maintenance and replacement of the equipment.
• Compliance & Regulations: Responsible for keeping equipment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Health & Safety: Ensure the health and safety of employees.
• Reporting: Complete weekly reports.
• Cost Management: Establish various management tools to improve cost management.
• Staff Training: Ensure the training of the staff.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills Abilities and Competencies:

• Education & Experience: Post-secondary education bachelors degree in Business Industrial Engineering Logistics or 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Licensing: Current Mechanics license and valid Drivers License.
• Software Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft software along with Trux Ariett GP and M5 or Dossier.
• Communication & Organization: Excellent communication skills management priorities and good organizational skills.
• Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial statements and general understanding of the departments contributions to monthly financial statements.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to deal with all levels of management; tactfully dispenses direct and actionable feedback and is open and direct with others.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure.
• Designation: Maintenance Management Professional designation is considered an asset.
