Firmwide Sourcing Lead – Sourcing & Procurement (Hybrid)

Were seeking someone to join our team as a Firmwide Sourcing Lead to be responsible for managing Indirect sourcing activities. Commodities include HR Benefits Travel Professional Services Marketing.

In the Corporate Services division we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Vice President level position within Sourcing / Procurement which is responsible for procurement (e.g. purchasing and supply chain activities) as well as vendor management (e.g. business requirements gathering sourcing strategy competitive and market assessments negotiation contracting and relationships associated with outsourced services).

What youll do in the role:

• Facilitate new supplier engagements and service/product renewals with a focus on the assigned category and strategic suppliers.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and work collaboratively with technology colleagues.

• Develop sound sourcing and commodity strategies that drive business value and mitigate risk.

• Maximize commercial impact through use of competitive bids and benchmarking/advisory.

• Analyze supplier proposals and negotiate best in class contract terms and value proposition.

• Work cross-functionally Finance Legal and Compliance to draft and execute contracts.

• Complete documentation and system requirements as required to enable the Source to Pay process.

What youll bring to the role:

• Experience in Category Management and running complex RFPs.

• Able to demonstrate subject matter expertise in at least one or more commodity areas:

  • Experience in Professional Services Commodity including drafting complex Statements of Work or;

  • Experience in the execution of large and complex Benefits Agreements Learning and Development Commodity and/or Marketing and Business Development Sourcing or;

  • Experience in the execution of large and complex travel agreements with demonstrated thought leadership in designated categories.

• Commercial negotiation and influencing skills to drive savings and deliver value to stakeholders.

• Experience in contract interpretation analysis and drafting across Master and Sub-Agreements.

• Strong Sourcing skills and the ability to execute across all elements of the Source to Manage lifecycle.

• Have experience using procurement tools such as Ariba or Coupa.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Indirect sourcing positions and a Bachelors degree.

All our positions are located in Montreal Quebec. We offer a hybrid work environment combining remote work and attendance in the office.

Knowledge of French and English is required.
