Job Summary
Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedFinancial Analyst for our Corporate Accounting team. The position is fully remote and open to candidates in either Winnipeg or Toronto. The position reports directly to the Manager of Accounting. They will have the opportunity to engage with a talented team and gain valuable experience. The incumbent will ensure accuracy timeliness and completeness of information processed in our accounting system and have the skills to lead and encourage individuals within the periodic analysis of results to identify and resolve variances between accruals and paymentsReview and reconcile periodic payments from various programs and assist in reporting resultsReview and analyze annual and mid-year physical inventory counts ensuring accurate valuation Support period-end and quarter-end close activities including reconciliations and journal entriesMaintain and strengthen internal controls and processes to ensure the integrity of financial reportingAssist in the development and implementation of process improvements to streamline accounting and reporting proceduresParticipating supporting and driving corporate wide financial priorities & initiativesPrepare ad hoc reporting and financial analyses to support management decision-makingOther duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsBachelor of Commerce degree with finance and/or accounting specialization 3 years of experience in accountingStrong interpersonal and communications skills both oral and writtenAdaptable to changing processes competing deadlines and fast-paced environmentsHighly organized and manages their own and others tasks with easeMindset of continuous improvementExperience with sales margin and analysis Advanced Microsoft Office Power Point and Excel skills including Pivot tables lookups sumifs in the following systems considered to be an asset: Business Central and Microstrategy BIExperience in multi-location and/or retail business environment considered to be an assetNeighbourly Pharmacyis an equal opportunity employer.
