Position Summary

  • Act as the central figure within FP&A for detailed non-interest expense reporting budgeting tracking and variance analysis
  • Maintain and develop dashboards on expenses and other key metrics in Tableau
  • With other Finance team members collaborate with project managers to create project investment theses; analyze the financial impact of new initiatives/strategic business decisions
  • Create reports in Tableau Powerpoint and other tools for Executive consumption
  • Contribute to monthly quarterly and annual planning and reporting cycles

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree Diplomas & Certifications:

Required: Bachelors degree in finance accounting business administration or related field and pursuing or obtained a professional designation (CPA or CFA)

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

  • Typically 2 years of previous working experience in finance reporting or accounting. Prior experience in financial services is an asset.
  • Advanced Excel user and experience working with reporting and planning tools including Adaptive Insights and Tableau
  • Strong communicator able to present technical topics clearly
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
