Financial Analyst, FP&A

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will support the Financial Planning & Analysis team reporting into the Finance Business Partner. This role combines recurring financial reporting responsibilities with analytical and process improvement initiatives and is ideal for candidates who enjoy building structure improving reporting processes and supporting business decision-making through structured and ad-hoc data analysis. The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced organization bring a problem-solving approach be experienced with leading projects and is a strong communicator. This role supports the completion of the CPA designation through the Experience Verification (EV) pathway.

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid)

This role is required to work from our Toronto Office minimum two days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparethemonthly reporting packageconsisting ofmanagementreportsvisualizations presentationsand other exhibits as requestedfortheWholesale Medical and Diagnostics business divisions
• Prepare designandrefreshpresentations for managementwithsales financial and operational metrics
• Performmonthlyvarianceand marketanalysesto deliver insights to Finance SalesandProductionteams
• Reconcile data from the ERP to the datacubesused for reporting andidentifydiscrepanciesto leadership
• Participateinbudgetingand forecasting processbyassistingwithExcel workbooks and upload procedures
• Analyze monitorand report on customer loansto ensurecompliance with contract requirements
• Developandmaintainperformancetracking financial models andanalysis reports usingPowerBIand/orExcelforsalesrevenuesdiscountsand expenses
• Support the continued evolution and improvement of the reporting analytics and finance processes
• Assistin improving reporting efficiency through Excel automationPowerBIenhancements and emerging AI-enabled tools
• Assistaccounting team membersasneededas it relates to the reporting of financials
• Maintain the organization of keyfinancial data in the cloud and design effectivefolder and filestructures
• Perform ad hoc analyses using data extracts from ERP system
• Other tasks as assigned by manager to ensure smooth business operations

Position Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 1-3 years of working experience Accounting Finance or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enrolment in a professional program such as CPA or CFA
• IntermediateMSExcelskills( StatementsFinancial Modelling)
• IntermediatePowerBIskills (Ex. Building Dashboardsleveragingdata cubes)
• Understanding ofIFRSandManagerial accounting analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
