Job Summary
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Finance Operations Lead on a permanent full-time basis within our Finance team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon SK.
Are you a finance professional who excels at bringing structure to complexity and helping teams execute with greater clarity and impact As the Finance Operations Lead you will play a key role in strengthening how Finance operates by connecting priorities improving governance practices and enabling effective decision-making across the function. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior Finance leaders to enhance collaboration elevate execution and support the delivery of FCLs strategic priorities.
What youll do:
- Lead the Finance operating rhythm by coordinating key leadership forums annual planning activities quarterly business reviews and Finance-wide priorities to support effective decision-making alignment accountability and follow-through.
- Strengthen the Finance Management system by establishing consistent leadership routines management practices and reporting expectations that improve communication accountability and execution across Finance.
- Support the evolution of Finance performance reporting and key performance indicator practices to provide leaders with meaningful visibility into operational performance progress against priorities emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the Vice President Finance by providing visibility to strategic priorities and Finance initiatives highlighting dependencies and risks requiring leadership attention and driving accountability for key actions and commitments.
- Coordinate Finances executive Board and Audit Committee reporting activities ensuring Finance materials are accurate consistent decision-ready and aligned with enterprise messaging.
- Review and enhance the quality of key Finance deliverables and executive materials ensuring clear consistent financial narratives insights and messaging across teams.
- Coordinate Finance engagement initiatives that strengthen leadership visibility connection and alignment across the Finance organization.
- Support the Vice President Finance on strategic analysis special projects continuous improvement initiatives and emerging priorities as required.
Who youll work with:
The Team: Reporting to the Vice President Finance youll work closely with Finance leadership including AVPs Directors and senior leaders across Financial Planning & Analysis Corporate Accounting Treasury Risk Audit Financial Shared Services and other Finance functions. Youll serve as a central connection point across Finance helping teams align priorities improve execution and deliver on shared objectives.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have 810 years of progressive finance experience with exposure across areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis Accounting Treasury Finance Operations or enterprise initiatives.
- Have a Bachelor of Commerce degree preferably with a major in finance or Accounting.
- Hold a professional finance designation (CPA CFA or CBV).
