Finance Lead

• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance/accounting team fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Develop and implement robust financial planning and analysis processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Analyze internal financial data and external economic conditions to identify trends risks and opportunities for the business.
• Utilize financial models to forecast business performance and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls maintaining the integrity of financial processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Asset Management General Manager and Human Resources Manager to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Conduct budget planning and performance reviews working closely with leadership to optimize financial resources.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making across various business functions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis continuously improving our processes.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including the Systems Specialist and Director of Finance to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

• University Degree in Finance Accounting or a related field with a strong academic record.
• CPA and/or CFA designation demonstrating a high level of professional expertise and commitment.
• 4-7 years of experience in financial planning analysis and reporting preferably in a dynamic business environment.
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring a finance/accounting team fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Strong background in corporate finance with a deep understanding of financial strategies and their impact on business performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques utilizing advanced Excel skills and relevant software.
• Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
• A results-driven and proactive approach to work with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

The salary range for this position is: $71500 - $105000
