Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Records & Filing Clerk to support a large-scale records management project. This role will focus primarily on the organization categorization and maintenance of physical files and documents.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work takes pride in accuracy and is comfortable working with high volumes of paper records.
Key Responsibilities
Sort organize and file physical records in accordance with established procedures
Review files for completeness and accuracy
Label categorize and archive documents to ensure easy retrieval
Retrieve and refile records as requested
Maintain orderly and secure filing systems
Prepare files for storage archiving or disposal in accordance with retention guidelines
Assist with records inventory and document tracking activities
Identify and report missing duplicate or misfiled records
Support general administrative duties related to records management
Qualifications
Previous experience in filing records management administration or clerical support is an asset
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Comfortable handling and organizing large volumes of physical documents
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Basic computer skills for tracking and documenting records
