Job Description

Role: Senior Field Superintendent (Mechanical/Piping)
Location: Key Lake Saskatchewan
Duration: 07/20/2026 to 12/31/2026
Work Rotation: 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out -11 hours per day
Years of Experience: 10

Key Responsibilities

• The Field Superintendent has primary responsibility to ensure contractors within their area are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements.
• Boilermaker is preferred
• The Field Superintendent will review and/or develop detailed work plans according to Camecos workface planning processes.
• In some instances the Field Superintendent may perform supervision of direct field labour on mechanical/piping scopes of work ensuring the work is completed safely and to a high quality standard.
• In some instances the Field Superintendent will oversee the contractors activities of a mechanical/piping nature confirming the work is completed safely and according to all contract requirements.
• Inspections of completed work to confirm it is completed to appropriate standards identifying deficiencies and managing the completion of deficiencies.
• Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and work collaboratively with the contractor and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers.
• Daily validation and approval of contractor submitted labour equipment and material reports.
• Responsible to coordinate field activities between contractors and the Cameco operations team as required.

Skills / Previous Experience

• Previous experience with multi-discipline mechanical work required (mechanical equipment piping).
• Previous experience in a brown field construction environment is required.

Northern Saskatchewan Based Pre-Access Training / Qualification Activities

To be assigned and completed in ISN prior to start:

• Site Orientation
  • A2 Key Lake Site Orientation
• Surface Pre Access OR Underground Pre Access (this includes completion of a substance test)
  • A6 Surface Pre Access
  • A7 Underground Pre Access
