Job Summary:
Field Service Technicians perform a variety of tasks such as servicing troubleshooting installation commissioning and repair of equipment. A Field Service Technician is required to travel to well site locations that are located regionally or internationally.Focusof this Field Service Technician will be in mechanical service.
We are looking for candidates with basicElectrical and Mechanical Skills able to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Material Handling- moving material including the use of overhead cranes Jib cranes or Forklifts.
- Mechanical and/or Electrical/Electronics servicing troubleshooting installation commissioning and repair.
- Cleaning and management of assigned tools and vehicle.
- Read blueprints diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- 24-hour on-call duties required at given times.
- Maintain strong business relationship with existing clients.
- Communicate with a FS Manager or Supervisor regularly on all aspects of service.
- Complete reporting job and billing paper work.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):
- Knowledge and experience with oilfield equipment and service work is an asset.
- Experience with schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written).
- Valid drivers license (Class 5) and Passport.
- Alberta Industry Training- Apprenticeship/Journeyperson program an asset. Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic preferred.
- Bachelor degree Technical diploma or equivalent in MechanicalEngineering an asset.
This position is classified as safety sensitive and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.
