Position Overview
We are seeking a skilledField Service Technicianbased in the London or Windsor region to support the installation maintenance and servicing of industrial bulk gas supply systems on-site production units cryogenic/food freezing equipment and process piping networks across Southwestern Ontario.This is a high-autonomy field position featuring fully company-provided tools tech and a take-home service vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Maintenance & Commissioning:Install troubleshoot and service bulk gas systems piping networks electronic controls and instrumentation.
- Mechanical & Mechanical Trades Support:Perform specialized pipefitting welding and brazing in accordance with technical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Project Oversight:Coordinate on-site contractors execute equipment commissioning and manage work orders using company-issued digital reporting tools.
- Operational Readiness:Complete regular field documentation and participate in an after-hours emergency response rotation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Location:Must reside in or near the Hamilton or St. Catharines ON area.
- Credentials:Post-secondary trade qualification or Journeyman ticket (Electrical Instrumentation Refrigeration Welding or related industrial trade).
- Experience:35 years of hands-on industrial field service experience (cryogenic atmospheric or compressed gas system experience preferred).
- Technical Skills:Proficient in reading complex schematics/blueprints operating MS Office (Excel) and executing diagnostic troubleshooting independently.
- Physical & Logistics:Valid drivers license ability to lift up to 60 lbs comfortable working outdoors and open to flexible scheduling/overtime as required.
