Finning is seeking two Field Service Supervisors to lead teams of skilled technicians supporting our this role you will oversee the safe and efficient maintenance repair and reliability of a fleet of 797 haul trucks while building strong customer relationships and driving operational excellence.

Location: Elkford
Schedule: 7x7 shift rotation

We anticipate the base salary for this position will be between $120000 - $130000. Actual salary will be based on the candidates experience.

• Champion a culture of safety by ensuring all safety standards procedures and compliance requirements are understood and consistently followed.
• Lead coach and develop a team of technicians through recruitment onboarding performance management and ongoing mentorship.
• Spend the majority of your time in the field supporting technicians and ensuring work is executed safely efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and allocate resources tooling and personnel to support planned maintenance and repair activities on CAT 797 haul trucks.
• Conduct pre-job mid-job and post-job reviews to ensure scope quality productivity and customer expectations are achieved.
• Provide technical guidance and support to quickly resolve complex equipment tooling and parts-related issues.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day field service operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of service reports job documentation and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Caterpillar mining equipment with experience on CAT 797 haul trucks considered a strong asset.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach mentor and develop high-performing teams in a mining or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong communication decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively lead frontline employees and customer interactions.
• Solid understanding of Caterpillar products warranty processes product health programs and service operations.
• Experience working within a unionized environment including knowledge of collective agreements performance management and employee relations practices.
• Advanced proficiency with Caterpillar SIS and working knowledge of SIMSi SIMS DSN and DPSS.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance safety quality productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Commitment to accountability continuous improvement and delivering safe high-quality results.
