Arlyn Recruiting is working with a well-established full-service law firm in the Fraser Valley that is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its Chilliwack office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 3 years of post-call family law experience who is looking to join a collaborative and supportive team. The firm places a strong emphasis on client service professional excellence teamwork and providing its lawyers with opportunities to continue developing their practices.

The successful candidate will manage family law matters while working closely with clients opposing counsel and other professionals. Responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with clients opposing counsel and other professionals
• Conducting legal research and analyzing legislation and case law
• Reviewing and analyzing evidence to identify key issues and potential arguments
• Drafting and reviewing agreements pleadings and court materials
• Preparing for and attending court proceedings
• Managing files efficiently and accurately
• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 years of post-call experience with a focus on family law
• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time-management abilities
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work additional hours when urgent matters arise

The firm offers a competitive salary ranging from $105000 to $190000 based on experience along with opportunities for professional growth.
