Job Summary
WHAT YOULL DO
Role:
We are seeking a talentedFacilities & Maintenance Leadto join ourFacilitiesteam. We are looking for someone withsupervisorymanufacturing experience and commitment to preventative maintenance& expansion. This role will report to the Facility Maintenance Manager and will be integral to an efficient manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance team in performingday to daypreventive predictive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment andongoingproductionexpansionwithfacility systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment malfunctions escalating issues when necessary.
- Assistin coordinatingexternal contractors for specialized services repairs and facility upgrades.
- Monitor andmaintainbuilding systems including HVAC electrical plumbing compressed air and fire suppression.
- Maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track& reviewwork orders maintenance schedules and equipment history.
- Support inroot cause analysis (RCA) efforts for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of critical spare parts and consumables.
- Develop and deliver training for maintenance staff to build technical skills and ensure safe work practices.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues and supporton-call24/7 operations as needed.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and PLC-based systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of building infrastructure systems including HVAC compressed air water and electrical distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics manuals and equipment specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to quicklyidentifyroot causes and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop technical staff.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and basic project management tools
WHO YOU ARE
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisor Role/Lead Experience.
- Experience in maintenance manufacturing.
- Experience installingmaintaining troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing industrial machinery.
- Experience withRoboticAutomation &PLCs Control Schematics.
- Scissor Lift experience.
