  • The hourly wage for this position ranges from $28.00 to $38.00 depending on experience and qualifications.

What you bring:

  • Class 3 Drivers License with airbrake endorsement is preferred or a valid Class 5 License with a clean drivers abstract.
  • Experience operating radial boom derrick (RBD)/digger derrick mini-excavator skid-steer and other heavy equipment.
  • Experience in shallow utility installation is preferred.
  • A positive team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification is preferred.
  • Occupational First Aid (OFA) levels I II and/or III is preferred.
  • Fall protection certification is an asset.
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.

This role involves a range of job duties which include but are not limited to:

  • Operating various equipment like RBD/digger derrick bucket truck crane excavator/backhoe skid steer forklift plate compactor jumping jack dump trailer pickup truck/flat deck and arrow truck (training provided).
  • Perform general labour tasks including hand shoveling trenching backfilling installing street light and traffic signal foundations laying cables and installing conduits and completing landscaping and road surface cleanup.
  • Coordinating pick up delivery and handling of stock materials to designated job sites.
  • Keep tools equipment and work areas clean safe and organized.
  • Assist with traffic control duties when required.
  • Travel as needed based on project needs.
  • Work night shifts on occasion as required.
