About The Role

We are currently seeking Equipment Operators to support civil projects for CNRL Horizon. Camp and flights from either Calgary and/or Edmonton provided.

We are looking for experienced operators for the following pieces of equipment:
Rock Trucks
Excavators
Dozers
Packers

What We Offer

• CLAC hourly wage depending on experience
• Payday is every Friday

• 10% vacation and stat holiday pay on regular earnings
• OT at 1.5 after 8 hours per day

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in heavy civil environments
• Perform excavation grading trenching finish grading and earthmoving tasks to specifications
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
• Follow site plans grade stakes and supervisor instructions to meet project tolerances
• Work collaboratively with ground crews and other operators to ensure safe and productive site operations
• Assist with general labour or other equipment operation when required
• Adhere to company safety policies procedures and industry best practiced

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience (civil earthworks preferred)
• Proven experience as a finish grade operator with the ability to achieve precise tolerances
• Strong knowledge of excavation grading compaction and earthmoving practices
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings grade stakes and GPS systems (asset)
• Safety certifications: CSTS WHMIS First Aid H2S Alive Ground Disturbance 201
• Strong commitment to safety teamwork and quality workmanship
• Valid drivers license clean drivers abstract and ability to pass pre-employment requirements
• Must be able to work legally in Canada
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
