Shifts:12-hour line-support shifts: 7am7pm / 7pm7am

About the Opportunity

Our client a leading advanced manufacturer with a major production facility in northern Vermont is hiring experienced Automated Material Handling (AMHS) Maintenance Technicians to support the equipment that transports product carriers throughout the facility: including overhead transport systems storage/retrieval systems conveyors and sorters. This hands-on maintenance role is critical to keeping a 24/7 production environment running.

What Youll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling equipment (overhead transport rail systems storage systems vehicles conveyors)
• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and controls-related equipment failures in a fast-paced production environment
• Respond to equipment down events to minimize production impact
• Read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams and equipment manuals
• Perform equipment calibrations adjustments and component replacements
• Document maintenance activity parts usage and equipment history in a CMMS
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment improvements and recurring issue resolution
• Follow all safety and controlled-environment protocols

Requirements

• 2 years maintaining automated material handling robotics conveyor or similar automated production equipment (advanced/high-precision manufacturing environments preferred)
• Working knowledge of PLCs servo/motor controls and industrial networking a plus
• Experience with CMMS/maintenance tracking systems
• Prior experience in controlled-environment (cleanroom-type) manufacturing is a strong plus but not required
• Associate degree or technical certificate in mechatronics electronics or industrial maintenance preferred
• Comfortable working in a controlled/gowned environment

Work Environment

• Controlled environment (gowned) facility
• Rotating/shift-based schedule including nights and weekends
• Physical requirements: standing walking climbing and working at heights/on lifts as needed
