We are seeking Environmental Consultants to join our Infrastructure Environmental Management (IEM) team as contractors from August 2026 to February 2027 to assist with large infrastructure projects. You can expect either 14 or 21 day shifts.
Responsibilities:
Perform barge-based construction monitoring includingmarine mammal observation hydroacoustic and water quality data collection.
Work with project contractors and owners toidentifyand address environmental management and protection measures.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 4years of experience in construction environmental monitoring.
Relevant technical diploma undergraduate degree or equivalent withappropriate qualificationsfor work in BC.
Relevant professional certification(BIT RP Bio RB TechAAg PAGAScT).
AQualified Environmental Professional(QEP).
Direct experience as a construction environmental monitorwithexposure to erosion and sediment control water quality fish salvage bird nesting surveys and acoustic monitoring.
Other Assets/Skills:
Must have avalid Canadian drivers license for the past three years and the ability to meet the requirements for our third-party automobile insurance policy.
Excellent problem-solving skills to ensure project delivery and compliance through creative and adaptable solutions.
Understanding ofpertinent environmental legislation regulations and guidance documents.
