THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Base Salary: CAD $94406.00 - 142069.00

As a ModernizationEnterpriseArchitect you will play a pivotal role in re-designing ourproducts andre-imagining legacy applicationstoleveragemodern software engineering patternsandcloudnative to the Director Enterprise Architecture you will lead by example providing guidanceexpertise and strategic direction to ensure alignment between technology solutions and businessobjectives. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of activities aimed at fostering innovation mitigating risks andproviding future looking applications designcovering Major AOP projects and other tactical projects that aid in sales and growth.

• Develops andmaintainsthe solution architectureblueprints and master architecture viewsformultiplesproductsacross all lines of business Insurance AdministrationHealthand Cares.
• Strong systemdesign background inarchitecting complex solutionsleveraginghybrid cloud postures and diverse set oftechnologies.
• Oversee developers and integration activities clarify answerquestionsand help to resolve issues as they arise.
• Identifypotential issues between systems and business specifications and propose new working solutions.
• Support development team to formulate overall solution strategies and roadmaps.
• Conduct research by considering current infrastructure asset opportunities and information security for applications improvement and integration.
• Examine functional specifications and translate them into system guidelines that shape project development.
• Conduct product evaluations and/or develop proof of concept(PoC)on new products and conceptswith the vision to move the solution from PoC to full scale production implementation.

WHO WERE LOOKING FOR

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Recent development experience and5 years experienceas a solution architect technical lead or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience withdesigning and working with microservices architecture includingmultipleAPI gatewaysacross GCP and Azure supporting multiple customer segments (B2C B2B B2B2C Government).
• There are several technologiesemployed: PowerBuilder C# WPF .NET4.5 CNugetDocumakerHashiCorp Dynatrace OraclePostgresApigeeCloudRunAzure B2C ADOGithub Visual Studio 2022 DapperNode.j.s Kubernetes REST API .NetcoreAngular CoPilot
• Expertisein engaging with senior business and technology leaders to ensure alignment between technology solutions and business initiativeswith the least amount of technical debt incurred.
• Self starterwitha strong senseof ownership around delivery andadherence toSSDLCbest practices and actively refactoring technical debtto improve overall technical currency.
• Experience with Agile development and CI/CD methodologies including supporting platforms such as Azure DevOps Azure Pipelines Jenkins or Jira.
• Experience architecting robust and cost-effective solutions for both public cloud and on-premises hosting with specific experience in GCP or Microsoft Azureleveragingdiversetechnicaloperating models (IaaS PaaS SaaS).
• Experience in leadingdecommissioning oftechnology as part of modernizing and consolidating technologies and business capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability in conceptual architecture and design with exceptional analytical and abstract thinking skillsby constructing a Detailed Level Solution Architecture and presenting them to the ARB voting forums for the purposes of reusability.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills including teamworkfacilitationand negotiationacross the logical enterprise architecture practice.
• Clear and effective written and oral communication skillsand cancommunicate with all levels of internal and externaldelivery/business stakeholders.
