About the role
The Analytics Business Partner acts as the crucial bridge between the Data Insights and Analytics department and key business stakeholders. This role focuses on translating complex data into actionable commercial insights driving data-driven decision-making and delivering high-quality visual reporting to senior executives. Operating with a high degree of independence the role ensures that analytical capabilities directly support operational performance and strategic goals across Calvarys services.
Your main duties will include:
- Deliver high-quality timely analysis and reporting that explains performance variances simplifies complex data for executives/senior leaders and directly supports evidence-based strategic decisions.
- Partner across all levels of the organisation to understand business needs capture requirements and facilitate stakeholder engagement to guide the enhancement of Power BI dashboards.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that support organisational growth operational excellence and the delivery of strategic priorities.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline reporting enhance data quality and improve business processes

About you
Essential:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics Accounting Business/Commerce or a related health discipline
- Professional qualification including MBA/CPA/CA will be highly regarded.
- Advanced skills in Power BI Excel Tableau and Microsoft Office.
- 3-5 years experience in commercial or performance analytics preferably within a large data-intensive organisation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement communication and presentation skills including the ability to convey findings to senior leaders and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities work independently and deliver outcomes in a complex environment.
Desirable
- Recent experience in the Health Care sector is highly desirable
- Knowledge and experience delivering insights from healthcare applications across hospitals residential aged care and home care.
- Industry knowledge of hospitals residential aged care and home care including impacts of legislation on data requirements and awareness of how industry trends will shape the requirement for insights into the future
