GHD is seeking a Graduate Stormwater Engineer to join our Intergrated Water Management team and support the delivery of engineering consulting services for major transportation infrastructure projects across Ontario. This position can be based in our Toronto Waterloo Markham or Mississauga office.

GHD is seeking a Engineering Graduate Stormwater to join our Integrated Water Management team and support the delivery of engineering consulting services for major transportation infrastructure projects across Ontario. This position can be based in our Toronto Markham or Mississauga office.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
• Community of Practice Management: Participate in a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to begin to build own expertise.
• Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
• Engineering Inspections: Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
• Health Safety and Environment: Follow the organizations health safety and environment (HSE) policies procedures and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action escalating serious issues as appropriate.
• Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes systems and procedures and use established change management programs to address them.
• Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education attending conferences and reading specialist media.
• Product and Solution Development: Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
• Project Management: Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities.
• Request for Bid Solicitation/Proposal/Tender Response: Gather information and resources to assist in the drafting of standardized tenders/proposals in response to bid solicitations request for proposal and request for tender.

What you will bring to the Team

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience

Salary: Toronto: $72000 - Salary Range is based on the preferred work location. If the selected candidates location differs changes to the salary range may apply.
