Emergency Medicine Windsor

Responsibilities

• Duties include full scope of practice as an emergency physician 
• The physician will be responsible to the department head for emergency medicine for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority

Expected Hours

• Tull-time
• 10-hour day shifts and 14 hour night shifts available
• Flexible shifts each month
• Single coverage shifts

Qualifications :

Qualifications

•  All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
•  All family physician must have membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
•  All specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
• All applicants must have a current PALS Certification
• All applicants must have a current ATLS Certification
• All applicants must have a current ACLS Certification
