Responsibilities

• Be responsible for extending and improving the Rivian and Volkswagen Group embedded infotainment platform (i.e. displays cameras graphics power management audio media app lifecycle etc).

• Contribute to the software design and code reviews while collaborating with other developers on technical issues design choices and decision making.

• Deploying and troubleshooting your solutions on a target vehicle or a hardware test bench.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Applied Mathematics Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or an equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver software solutions on time and with high level of quality.

• Working skills with C C and Java.

• Experience with POSIX-based embedded systems; Preferred Linux and Android.

• Familiarity with one or more technical areas such as displays cameras graphics power management audio and Bluetooth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable working in an environment with sophisticated build systems and large code repositories.

• Experience building solutions with Android Automotive OS

• Understanding of AOSP or FreeRTOS architectures.

• Preferred experience with low-level interfaces typical of embedded systems: such as I2C SPI GPIO UART USB PCIe SDIO UFS MDIO.

Total Rewards

Full-time positions include base salary eligibility for an annual performance bonus and eligibility for equity.
