Job Description: EDI Developer (experience in EDI development mapping and support; Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12 EDIFACT) and transaction sets) Toronto - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain EDI maps transactions and integrations (e.g. X12 EDIFACT XML)

Analyze business requirements and translate them into EDI solutions

Configure and support EDI communication protocols (e.g. AS2 FTP SFTP VAN)

Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues ensuring timely and accurate data exchange

Collaborate with business partners vendors and internal teams to onboard new trading partners and maintain existing relationships

Monitor EDI transactions and perform data validation error handling and reporting

Maintain documentation for EDI processes mappings and partner configurations

Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field

2 years of experience in EDI development mapping and support

Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12 EDIFACT) and transaction sets (e.g.)

Experience with EDI mapping tools (e.g. ITX Gentran Sterling Integrator Seeburger BizTalk or similar)

Familiarity with EDI communication protocols (AS2 FTP SFTP VAN)

Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle JD Edwards)

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python Shell)

Experience with API integrations and cloud-based EDI solutions

Understanding of banking EDI processes
