Job Summary:

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe efficient prompt and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases while promoting ALCs quality and safety objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.

• Picks up empty cylinders as required.

• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.

• Pick your own load of cylinders plan out your day based on items dispatched for you drive to required sites pick up empties then offload trucks upon return.

• Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.

• Pick up and deliver freight safely and efficiently

• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members

• Operates vehicles in a safe manner

• Reports all unsafe conditions and all accidents immediately to his Supervisor or the Safety Champion.

Required qualifications

• Valid Az or DZ license with air with a clean drivers abstract

• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry

• Customer service experience

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

Preferred qualifications

• Forklift Certification
