Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop Managers and Team Leaders across multiple locations.
- Set performance expectations monitor results and drive accountability.
- Foster employee engagement continuous improvement and effective labour relations.
- Ensure consistent application of collective agreements policies and procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture through Health & Safety leadership and accident investigation.
- Ensure compliance with legislative regulatory and company requirements.
- Maintain operational records systems and documentation.
- Oversee district operations to achieve service productivity and quality objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as required.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Manage Trak3 operations facility maintenance contractor services and site infrastructure.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through visibility accuracy and on-time service.
- Collaborate with operational and customer service teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Monitor service metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage budgets resources and district assets to meet operational and financial objectives.
- Improve productivity profitability and revenue capture.
- Ensure billing accuracy and support business growth through cross-functional collaboration.
Required Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the transportation logistics or courier industry.
- Knowledge of unionized work environments and labour relations.
- Strong computer proficiency and analytical skills.
- Excellent time management problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience
- 35 years of progressive leadership experience in a similar operational management role.
- Experience managing multiple locations and geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience establishing measuring and maintaining operational standards.
- Proven success in customer relationship management and operational performance improvement.
