This is a full-time two-year term position that combines both dishwashing and food preparation responsibilities in a fast-paced hospitality the RoleThis hybrid position supports daily kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness and assisting with food preparation. You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen efficiency and supporting our culinary team across multiple may be scheduled to support various food and beverage outlets within the Frobisher Inn including:The Frob Eatery (full-service restaurant)Carbrew Café (quick service / coffee shop)Storehouse Bar & Grill (casual dining and lounge)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform dishwashing duties including cleaning kitchen equipment utensils and dishwareMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dishwashing areasAssist with basic food preparation (e.g. chopping portioning ingredient prep)Support cooks and chefs with daily kitchen tasksFollow all health safety and food handling standardsAssist with receiving and organizing deliveries as neededQualifications & SkillsPrevious kitchen or food service experience is an assetAbility to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentStrong attention to cleanliness and organizationWillingness to take direction and support multiple kitchen functionsFlexibility to work varied hours including evenings weekends and holidaysEmployment DetailsStatus: Full-Time Two-Year Fixed TermHours: Flexible scheduling requiredLocation: On-site in Iqaluit NUCompensation: Hourly (based on experience)Additional InformationSubsidized staff housing is available including relocation to IqaluitThis position is not eligible for employer sponsorship except where applicable under the Francophone Mobility ProgramLocal candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
