We are looking for a Director Electricity to support and develop our presence in the Saguenay region by actively participating in the implementation of our strategic plan for the region and overseeing the operations of the local office. This role represents a unique opportunity to play a key role in growing our business and building strong relationships with our high-potential customers.
Primary responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of engineers and technicians specialized in industrial electricity
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the Saguenay region.
- Identify local business opportunities and maintain close relations with the firms various internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in business development strategy to attract new clients and maximize opportunities with existing clients.
- Supervise and manage industrial electrical projects ensuring delivery within standards deadlines and budgets while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new partnerships in the region.
- Participate and represent the firm in business development activities and in local socio-economic forums.
- In addition to management duties be responsible for project management including the production of deliverables (reports design plans specifications technical expertise).
Qualifications :
- University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience experience with a consulting engineering firm an asset.
- Expertise in team management and mobilizing leadership.
- Expertise in business development and operations management.
- Recognized expertise in engineering project management and relevant experience in construction planning and estimating
- Willingness to travel to plants/industrial sites
- Integrity team spirit and commitment to excellence
- Fluency in French and English is essential for this position to ensure smooth interactions with our various stakeholders guarantee clear communication and complete our various projects nationwide.
- Strong organizational skills rigor and judgment
- Acts ethically and demonstrates a high capacity for collaboration
